As an active musician in the Hudson Valley, I’ve always done my best to immerse myself in the local music scene any way I can. I’ve given acoustic performances in coffeehouses across the Valley, provided jazz music for weddings and other gatherings, and rocked out with bands in clubs and bars from Poughkeepsie to Albany.
Aside from performing, I provide arrangements of pop songs for local string quartets and other ensembles, and soundtracks for local film projects and advertisements. I try to keep one foot in every area of the music business.
Private teaching has proved to be a rewarding line of work, and I continue to give lessons on guitar, bass, drums, and piano from my home in Poughkeepsie during the summer and winter, and from my apartment in Albany during classes.
On YouTube, I’m known as LongestSoloEver, the name under which I offer free video lessons (which are reprinted in text on this site) and other musical performances.
I’m currently finishing a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Music Industry at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. Afterwards, I hope to make a living somewhere in the music world, whether it’s performing, producing, composing, teaching, or all of the above.
